Power-driven cargo ship. One deck construction. Three cylinders steam engine (21.5" - 34.5" - 60") x 39" - 1380 bhp. Speed 9,5 kn.

September 9th, 1915 She has been ordered. Contract value was 770.000 NOK
January 17th, 1919 She has been launched
April 11th, 1919 Tests and acceptance by A/S Dampskibsselskabet Valkyrien (A.O.Andersen & Co.), Kjobenhavn (sice April 13th, 1926, Helsingor). Ship owner has finally paid 1.527.384 NOK.
Since March 3rd 1922 till 1926 temporarly chraterd to DFDS for Kopenhaga - North America line.
June 7th, 1926 bought by DFDS, Helsingor
from 1926 to 1940 generally on Kopenhaga - North America line
1926, 1938 and 1939 hardly ever chartered for USA - West India lines
1930 and 1934 till 1937 also crusing from Danmark to Antwerp
1934 and 1935 also in service between Baltic region - Kopenhaga - Menchester - Liverpool - Swansea
1940 generally crusing between Danmark - Germany - Sweden
1941 to 1944 generally in service on Lulea/Oxelosund - Emden/Brema lines with load of iron ore and coal and cacao on return cruise.
November 9th, 1944 on her last voyage between Kopenhaga - Gdynia (Gotenhafen) sunk after colision with S/S Fortuna of Bremen 513/93. Crew members were rescued.
