Constructed in April 1940 as a norwegian M/S Goya in Akers Mek Verkst A/S shipyard in Oslo. New building number 479. She has two B&W 7 cilinders Disel engines 8400bhp each. She has two fixed pitch propellers. Her range was 15090 nm crussing with 15 knots
History:
06.01.1942 - sailing as a suplly transportation vessel for U-boots.
VI.1943 - base ship for 27th "Unterseewaffe" Fleet.
01.08.1943 - target ship for 24th "Unterseewaffe" Fleet.
16.04.1945 - attacked by soviet submarine L-3 about 30 nm north from Wladyslawowo.
17.04.1945, 00:04 LOC - she has sunked with 7000 men and women on board
